Meet your instructor

Jessica Pallotti, Certified Pilates Teacher

I was introduced to the Pilates method in 2013 while obtaining my BFA in dance from Adelphi University.

I immediately fell in love with its ability to enhance my dance training. Pilates focuses on stability and mobility which parallels many aspects of dance. Shortly after graduating in 2016 I moved to the greater New York City area to further pursue my dance training.

Pilates became my second love as I experienced its benefits on my body.

It enabled me to sustain a stronger career as a Professional Dancer. I was quickly inspired to continue my journey with Pilates by teaching others to better understand their bodies. I focus on cultivating form, increasing flexibility, overall body strength, and awareness through its challenging and rehabilitative workouts.

I completed my Classical Pilates USA™ (formally U.S. Pilates™) Teacher Certification in 2019.

I continue to train under Brett Howard, a Director of Education of the Classical Pilates USA Teacher Certification Program (formally the United States Pilates Association™) and a second generation teacher certified by Joseph Pilates’ protégé Romana Kryzanowska. Additionally, I train under Tetsuo Yoshida, a third generation teacher and a Teacher Trainer for the Classical Pilates USA Teacher Certification Program.

I continued to dance professionally in the greater NYC/NJ area with multiple dance companies until the end of 2019 when I injured my back and had to stop dancing.

As a result of this injury I transitioned my love and passion for dance into my love and passion for Pilates.  This perspective allows me to share my knowledge and background of movement with my clients to help them reconnect with their bodies on a deeper level.

My personal experience with injury provides me with empathy and understanding for my clients who are also dealing with an injury.

This dual approach enhances the personal growth of my clients so they can live to their fullest potential.
